DOCG - Vinified in purity - 100% Fiano di Avellino

The origin of Fiano is millenary. The Latins called this vine Vitis Apiana, as the bees seemed particularly greedy for the sweetness of its grapes. Much appreciated in the Middle Ages, it was cultivated by Carlo D'Angiò for its exceptional characteristics. Straw yellow in color, intense aroma with hints of honey, hazelnut and smoked, it has a fresh and harmonious flavor that goes well with the most refined fish dishes. Ideal for excellent aperitifs.

Production area: Montefalcione, in the heart of the Fiano di Avellino DOCG production area, with land located at an altitude of 500/550 mmsl. Particularly suitable for viticulture with the recognition of two Controlled and Guaranteed Designations of Origin such as Fiano di Avellino and Taurasi.

Grape variety: 100% selected Fiano di Avellino.

Training system: The training system of the vineyards is guyot, conducted with an integrated farming method. The production per hectare is 70/80 quintals.

Characteristics:  Bright straw yellow color, clear and consistent, almost creamy. Intense and floral bouquet. Warm soft flavor with a honeyed and mineral vein in a good balance.

Pairings:  Cheeses and dishes based on fish, shellfish, seafood and appetizers,
